About me
My profession.
I am photographer, filmmaker, artist, user experience designer, and user interface designer.
Although I have a large range of different specialisations, they are all linked by one quality - sense of creativity. They all require visual skills and artistic approach.
Since childhood I had a passion for all different areas of visual work and had many opportunities to develop my skills.
My Education.
In summer 2019, I graduated at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Science in Helsinki with Bachelor of Business Administration (Degree in Business Information Technology). My specialisation was in Digital Services, and I was pursuing profession of UX/UI Designer.
Fun fact: originally I am from Russia, having Russian as my only mother tongue. Already then I fell in love with Finland and tried to get accepted to Finnish University to study in English language. I had no success on my first three attempts. Finally, I got in only on my forth attempt, just when being so close to given up.
When I was in my middle school, I graduated from Children Art School in Podolsk, Russia. It was a four year program and I got an Honors Degree Diploma.
In 2017, I did a non-degree program called “Full Time Filmmaker” of the Parker Walbeck Film School. This program taught me everything I need to know to make short films.
Currently I am completing online course “Photoshop for Photographers” created by famous Finnish photographer Julius Kähkönen.
My business.
I had a chance to start my business during summer of 2018, being on third trimester of my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I had to pause my business activity for almost a year, after the birth of my first child.
In September 2019, I re-started my business and currently working on it part-time. I built this website in October 2019.
My business values
Quality.
My main focus always lays in quality of my work. I charge each piece of my work separately in order for my clients to know, what they are paying for, and encourage them to expect excellent results from each stage of my work.
Affordability.
Never at any point of my business career I tried, try or will try to overprice my work and to get more than I deserve. Honesty is my value. I spent many hours comparing my work and prices, as well as determining the value I can offer and the fair price I should receive. All my prices are thought-through and just. I believe in value for value approach.
Creativity.
Title, education, gear, software - I believe that they are secondary. First and foremost for me always been creative approach. I think through each project separately, search for ideas and inspiration, create concepts, and take advantage of my experience to get best results. I have no similar work, but each project is unique.
